This Study Tour is specifically geared to choir conductors who want to train their observation skills, practice and share/exchange with others within the scope of the Choralies festival. Each day there will be time dedicated to working on scores and analysing the difficulties that lie within. Participating conductors will also have the opportunity to observe various workshops. Come and discover new ways of working and new repertoires in this collaborative workshop!

Maud Hamon-Loisance holds a master’s degree from the National Conservatory in Lyon, where she studied singing and choral direction. She completed her training at the Hochschule in Berlin. She directs children’s, youth and adult choirs and was in charge of the vocal ensembles and choir direction teaching at the regional conservatory in Grenoble. Since 2019, she has been at the head of the Maîtrise de Bretagne at the regional conservatory in Rennes. She created the Chœur Régional de Jeunes Inspirations in Rhône-Alpes in 2018. Hamon-Loisance has won numerous international prizes and works in various places across Europe and Africa…

Mathilde Vincent trained in choir directing under R. Théodoresco and N. André (Pôle Supérieur – Rennes). In 2021, she finished her teacher training at the national conservatory in Lyon. Currently, she is a choir conductor and teacher in the Brittany region, where she cultivates her passion for choral singing with multifaceted groups. At the conservatory in Rennes, she directs children’s and adolescent choirs and has been teaching choir direction for 10 years with a focus on providing future conductors solid training adapted to today’s reality.
