VoiceChangers

Germany

Direction: Rosemarie Arzt
The VoiceChangers is a Berlin-based choir of boys and young men who begin singing here at the onset of their change of voice. All received their vocal training with the Children’s Choir of the Deutsche Oper Berlin (DOB) and have taken part in numerous opera productions. Many still sing in the opera’s youth chorus.

Founded in 2013 under the direction of Rosemarie Arzt, the choir has grown from six to around twenty members. They pursue their passion for singing while carefully accompanying the evolution of their voices.

Building on their solid choral foundations, they perform an a cappella repertoire for male voices, ranging from classical to pop. Their singular sound and youthful energy make them a much-appreciated ensemble at concerts, festivals and international choral gatherings. On stage, in churches or at cultural events, the VoiceChangers captivate audiences with their commitment and obvious pleasure in singing.
