Laure-Carlyne Crouzet has a bachelor’s degree in modern literature and a master’s in musicology. She studied harpsichord with Françoise Lengellé at the Lyon Conservatory, where she graduated with top honours in 2010. Since then, she has worked with prestigious conductors as both a continuo player and soloist.
In 2015, Laure-Carlyne founded Les Constellations, an ensemble that performs across Europe. Their goal is to rediscover the forgotten gems of French Baroque sacred and secular music. Since 2021, she has also been the artistic director of Festi Dombes, an international early music festival in southeast France.
After completing her teaching training at HEM Geneva, she earned her harpsichord teaching qualification and trained in Dalcroze eurhythmics. She is especially interested in how body, voice and rhythm interact.
Laure-Carlyne currently teaches harpsichord at the Paris-Saclay Conservatory.
