Ingrao

Benjamin Ingrao started out studying violin and choral conducting at the Saint-Étienne Conservatory. He went on to specialise in early music singing at the Lyon Conservatory, where he earned his master’s degree in 2013. Benjamin regularly performs as a soloist with professional ensembles in France and abroad, and also sings in choirs led by renowned conductors.

With a passion for both historically informed projects and unique sound experiences, Benjamin easily moves between musical styles from the Middle Ages to modern times.

He is often invited to direct choirs, coach vocalists or teach masterclasses. In addition to his other activities, he has been a certified music teacher since 2019 and teaches at the Bourgoin-Jallieu Conservatory in southeast France.
