Dominique Tille studied singing and choral conducting in Lausanne and Geneva, before going on to perfect his skills in Germany at the Berlin University of the Arts, then in New York, where he spent four years studying non-classical singing, dance and theater.
Dominique Tille is a chameleon. His ability to convey his passion, whether on stage or in a concert hall, is as much at home interpreting early, classical or romantic music as he is in the pop, jazz or musical comedy repertoires. He is proud to be a jack-of-all-trades and is not afraid to mix it up.
With his international background and extensive experience in directing youth choirs, this multilingual 40-year-old with a curiosity for all styles intends to lead the choir on new musical and human adventures, at the crossroads of the artistic demands and pedagogical role that characterize the national choir.
