Bob Chilcott’s “Little Jazz Mass” and other English gems

Feel the groove, swing and blues in this short Latin mass in five movements, arranged for treble voices.

Bob Chilcott’s “Little Jazz Mass” and other English gems

Twenty years after it was first performed, Bob Chilcott’s A Little Jazz Mass still captivates with its rhythmic energy, lyricism and rich harmonies. A jazz trio (piano, double bass and drums) will jazz up the vocal parts and add an extra layer of depth. We’ll add two more fantastic pieces: John Rutter’s expressive and uplifting “For the Beauty of the Earth” and Darius Lim’s “A Puppet’s Dream”, a poetic choral gem full of surprises.
