Body Percussion

Join us for a dynamic three-day workshop designed for singers to explore body percussion as an innovative pedagogical tool. This immersive experience will blend music, movement, and creativity to enhance your rhythmic skills and overall musicality.

Body Percussion

Through body percussion, participants will engage in a holistic approach that uses music, movement, and creativity to foster a deep connection.
The primary objectives of the workshop include developing body recognition, coordination, and perception. Participants will also enhance their creativity, body expression, and aesthetic sense through sequences, choreographies, and musical games. Understanding rhythm as a pedagogical resource, participants will work on improving their concentration and attention skills using body percussion. Music serves as the primary language for expression, creation, and emotional connection throughout the workshop.

The content of the workshop includes body percussion, which allows participants to explore rhythmic language using their bodies to create music. Participants will also work on body expression and movement to enhance their musicality through physical expression. Understanding the tonal, structural, rhythmic, and emotional aspects of songs is another crucial component. Various learning techniques, such as imitation, question/answer, and trial/error methods, will be employed for effective learning.

This workshop is designed for singers looking to deepen their understanding of rhythm, enhance their creativity, and develop new pedagogical skills. Join us for three days of transformative musical exploration!
