Featuring works by composers like Pergolesi, Buxtehude, Dumont and Melgás, this programme celebrates sacred music that mixes drama with deep emotional expression. You’ll get to feel the essence of each piece, crafted with a delicate balance of consonance and dissonance, and text-driven structures full of meaning.
While some pieces will be performed a cappella, others will be accompanied by four early music professionals on violins, viola da gamba and keyboard.
