This workshop offers unique arrangements of traditional and popular songs straight from the Creole culture of French Guyana; music with traditional rhythmic drums spiced up with Afro-Caribbean jazz. Guaranteed to give you a change in scenery and a great mood!

Olivia Euzet-Garciane has a degree in musicology from the University of Tours and in classical piano, musical training and chamber music from the Tours regional conservatory. As an associate professor, she has been teaching music at the high school level for nearly 20 years and directs a high school choir made up of 15 to 80 singers depending on the school year. She co-founded and directed the Guyana University Choir (2008-13) and teaches choral singing and direction at the music academies in Guyana and Martinique. Singer, writer, composer, she has been in several jazz vocal groups.
