De Boo

Marleen De Boo, based in Antwerp, Belgium, is a renowned choral conductor and educator. She leads Waelrantkoren, an organization with eight choirs and over 250 singers. At Podium Academy Lier, she teaches choir classes and co-leads choral conducting courses. She lectures at the Royal Conservatory Antwerp and led the Catholic University of Leuven’s student choir from 2009 to 2014. Her choirs regularly compete internationally, winning numerous awards, including at the World Choir Games Flanders (2021) and the European Choir Games (2023). Marleen also conducts workshops and lectures globally, focusing on the pedagogical aspects of choral singing and fostering a supportive environment for young singers.
